Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Valuation Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting valuations for a diverse portfolio of properties, including commercial, residential, and industrial assets. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate and timely valuation reports for a variety of purposes including acquisition, disposal, financial reporting, and lending.

Conduct thorough property inspections and valuations across a range of property types.

Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports in accordance with RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book).

Perform market research and analysis to support valuation conclusions.

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice and guidance.

Collaborate with other departments within Gerald Eve to deliver comprehensive property solutions.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property markets, trends, and regulatory changes.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and professional guidelines.

Assist in business development activities, including client relationship management and networking.

Qualifications and Experience:

MRICS qualified (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is essential.

Proven experience in property valuation, preferably within a consultancy or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of property markets, particularly within the Leeds and broader Yorkshire area.

Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.

Proficiency in valuation software and MS Office Suite.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
