Gerald Eve provides independent, intelligent and relevant advice based on detailed market knowledge and sector understanding. Our expertise covers capital markets, corporate real estate advisory, asset management, tenant representation, landlord leasing, planning and development and building consultancy, property management, valuation and business rates services.

Gerald Eve joined Newmark Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NMRK) (“Newmark”) in 2023. A world leader in commercial real estate, Newmark’s company-owned offices, together with its business partners, operate from over 170 offices with approximately 7,600 professionals around the world.

Job Description

Our Commercial Real Estate pathway focuses on the completion of the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). As a Graduate, you will gain experience in a wide range of specialisms to gain a strong understanding of the industry and Gerald Eve’s key clients.

Our aim is to nurture creative and dynamic property consultants. From your very first day, you’ll be given plenty of responsibility, working on real projects and meeting clients. You’ll be out and about on inspections, researching the market and presenting arguments. We’ll help you build up your competencies to ensure you are confident to sit your APC to become a chartered surveyor.

Based in our Glasgow office, Graduates are positioned in a multi-disciplinary environment and where the support you provide to the various sub teams will ensure elevated exposure whilst on the programme and beyond.

We recognise that you don’t have to achieve a degree in real estate to become a successful commercial property advisor. Graduates from any degree disciplines are welcome to apply.

The Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship route to attain an MSc if eligible, is a great option for non-cognates. You would be able to join a Graduate scheme and receive workplace training and development alongside completing your APC with the end result that you qualify for MRICS. As an Apprenticeship-levy paying employer, this would be of no cost to you.
