The role
The role of Junior Compliance Analyst will incorporate on-boarding as well as other responsibilities as set out below. The role will report to the Deputy Compliance Manager with direction for certain duties being overseen directly by the Risk and Compliance Director. It is important that the incumbent has the ability to interface with colleagues at all levels and across departments.
Main Responsibilities
• On-boarding of new clients - including sanctions, PEPS, Adverse Media screening
• Conduct event driven reviews / monitoring
• Liaise with administrators and clients where necessary
• Supplier On-boarding
• Other duties as may be required from time to time
• Providing support to more Senior team members as required
Core requirements
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Logical and methodical approach to Know your Customer
• Process driven
• Ability and confidence to communicate with all members of the firm, whether in person, in writing or over the telephone
• Knowledge of different legal structures / ability to develop understand of complex legal structures
• Flexibility to adopt new systems and processes as we acquire or develop new software and improve our workflow management to embed compliance
• Proficiency with MS Excel, particularly pivot tables, bar graphs, etc
Preferred
• Some knowledge of Data Privacy requirements advantageous
• Ability to document processes and create clear written guidance for others
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role (Asset Management or Private Equity)
• Graduate in a discipline such as Law, History or Business

Working hours
The Firm’s core hours are from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and you may choose to start and end your day around these hours, provided you still do your 7.25 hours per day (e.g. 8.00 am – 4.30pm, 10.00 am – 6.30 pm). There is no requirement for this to be the same each day, but you are required to keep your manager informed. This position also involves out of hours working on an ‘as necessary’ basis. We are open to considering flexible working arrangements for everyone; this can be discussed during the application process or upon commencement.
